Born in San Diego, & raised on the streets of Chicago’s West Side, the styles of this music mogul are a mold formed from some of his past favorites including but not limited to Mc Hammer, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Jagged Edge, Aliyah, Twista, Crucial Conflict, Do or Die & Keith Sweat, Nevertheless, as you may have heard already, he has formed his own unique style which serves as a template to many artists who follow behind him.

Since the tender age of 4yrs old Patrico Brown has been no stranger to the entertainment industry. As a young actor he was featured in MC Hammer’s “Please Hammer Don’t Hurtem” & Oprah Winfrey’s “There Are No Children Here.” Patrico’s Passion for acting & his love of music went hand in hand. Patrico started off as a singer in the community for P.A.C.A., Life Directions, & St. Agatha Choir, but during his adolescent years Potency turned to Rap as his main form of musical self expression.

Patrico always had a way with his words & hustle creating a following that wouldn’t go unrecognized. In 2005 Patrico struck his first recording deal/Partnership with Baltimore Label, Tha Corporation. He later branched off to form his own label Potency TV where he released multiple albums under his rap alias Potency The King Of Rap with global distribution on Amazon.com and iTunes.com.

Since his arrival on the Hip Hop scene Patrico has performed, produced & collaborated with established Producers, Artists, and Djs, including Lil John, Ludacris, Puff Daddy, Nikki Minaj, Jeremih, Jermaine Dupri, Dj Class, Twista, Crucial Conflict, Da Brat, MC Hammer, Malik Yusef,Teairra Mari, 3 Piece, Hotstylz, Bo Deal, Yung Joc, Sam I Am, Wakaflocka Flame, Mr Stay Crunk, Poohdalini, Judge Harris, Dj Timbuck2, Dj Green Lantern, Dj V-Dub, Sean Mac, Dj Nero, Dj Nurotic, & many more.

Still young to the industry but eager to conquer, Patrico has mastered every aspect of the industry, from promotions, directing videos, and even designing websites. He’s done it all.
